A craving that became a calling
Ruvonga Bakes started in a tiny Nairobi kitchen with one goal: make the kind of treats we couldn't find anywhere else. We spent months perfecting our bomboloni dough, testing fillings until 2 AM, and handing out samples to anyone who'd taste them.
What began as weekend baking for friends quickly grew into something bigger. People kept coming back. Orders piled up. And we realised this wasn't just a hobby -- it was our thing.
Today, we bake fresh every single morning. Small batches, real ingredients, zero shortcuts. Every bomboloni is hand-filled, every muffin baked to a golden dome, and every cinnamon roll swirled with care. We're still small, still learning, and still madly in love with what we do.
